Sturla wins Duathlon in Argentina

Eduardo Sturla in Argentina
On Sunday, July 25 Eduardo Sturla won the Duathlon (6km run/ 30km bike/ 3km run) in Argentina. The race is part of Eduarto's "Road to Kona" and preparation for Ironman Hawaii in October.

Eduardo did the course (with all transitions) in the cold of Buenos Aires, in 1:19:10. "The day was windy and very cold. But I really like to race in hard conditions. I was happy to win that race, of course, winning is always magical, but because I didn't rest, it was part of my training day. Defeating duathlete specialists was also really good for my confidence", said Sturla. "I will be doing more races as training until I depart for Hawaii, so that's good because I treat it like a "company training", with good athletes and people that really push me."

Sturla's next race will be Sunday, August 1, the Reebok 10 KM run, also in Buenos Aires.
