July 29, 2010 - Filed under: Testteam
Next up on the women's race schedule is the World Cup in Sweden. On July 30, Cervélo TestTeam will defend their Team Time Trial victory from the 2009 World Cup Open du Suède, in Vargarda. Half of last year's victorious team - Regina Bruins (NED), Sarah Düster (GER) and Kirsten Wild (NED) will be racing again in 2010 and will be joined by their strong time trial teammates Charlotte Becker (GER), Emma Pooley (GBR) and Iris Slappendel (NED). Two day's later on August 1 the eighth World Cup race of the season follows with a 132 km road race in the beautiful Vargarda region. Kirstin Wild (NED) has good memories of the race that she finished second in last year. The focus for the team is to win as many World Cup points as possible for the overall ranking where they are currently second.
